Mothers Day 2012 in Kuwait

Kuwait follows the UK calendar when it comes to Mothers Day and I was taken completely off guard. I’m used to the US mothers day calender which usually falls on the month of May. If only I knew earlier, I would have prepared for this blog post a little better but oh well.  It’s Wishful Wednesday, by the way! 😀

Anyways, before anything, I would like to apologize for my one month absence. I started getting busy just two weeks before my final exams week. I have so many pending blog posts which I promise to publish while I’m on summer vacation, so just keep posted. I promise that there’ll be a lot to look forward to. For those who don’t know, I’m currently in Kuwait for vacation. Staying here until April 11th. Woohoo!

So yeah… We “surprised” Mama by dropping by her work. Dada bought his mothers day gift at the airport, a little before we showed ourselves to Mama.

We waited until after Mama finished her shift and then had dinner at Buffalo’s at Jabriya, just near our house.

We were watching Russell Peters on my laptop while we were in the car and even brought it to dinner with us because it was just too entertaining.
Even Charlie came to greet Mama a happy mother’s day. Cutie!
One rose from each of her awesomely beautiful daughters.
Mama’s loving her new addition to her large bag collection.
Here’s a close up of Mama’s new Le Tanneur bag.
I’m sorry if I can’t delve into better details of the day because I’m already feeling very tired. Still haven’t fully recovered from my jet lag. My body clock is still following Manila time which is five hours ahead of Kuwait. Well, anyways, that’s pretty much what we did for today. Like I said, I’ll be updating more often now that I’m on vacation. Aaaaaaaand, I hope that all of you are having a pretty grand time as well. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the beautiful mothers out there!
I LOVE YOU, MAMA!!! :*
Love lots!
